New York Litigation Counsel

Goldenberg LLP represents businesses, owners, developers, condominium and cooperative boards, sponsors, lenders, employers, employees, and individuals in commercial, real estate and construction, and employment disputes throughout New York, and advises owners, investors, and family offices on commercial real estate ventures, acquisitions, and financings. Every matter is handled directly by a senior lawyer of the firm, from first assessment through resolution.

We know the system and who’s across the table.

Our firm was founded by brothers Joel L. Goldenberg and Daniel R. Goldenberg, New York litigators who have represented developers, owners, lenders, and employers, and litigated against them and their counsel. We know the courts, the procedure, and the lawyers on the other side: where a case has leverage, when to press, and when to finesse.

As brothers, we pair seamless coordination with relentless execution to achieve your goals.

  2. Real Estate & Construction Litigation

  4. Commercial Real Estate Ventures

Deal counsel to owners, investors, and family offices on acquisitions, joint ventures, and structured financings.

Beyond New York, we litigate through established local counsel in New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Florida, Texas, and elsewhere across the country.

Our approach

Litigation requires judgment early.

The most important decisions in a dispute are often made before the first motion is filed: what to preserve, what to demand, which claims matter, and whether the case should be resolved, narrowed, or fought. We set a clear legal and practical strategy at the outset and pursue the result the matter requires, through negotiation, motion practice, trial, appeal, or enforcement.

Global counsel network

The network began with Daniel’s work on the restitution of Holocaust-era art and property to Jewish families and their heirs, which required counsel in each country concerned. The firm introduces clients, and lawyers who approach it, to counsel and advisers abroad; any engagement is made directly with that counsel or adviser.

Lawyers and advisers introduced by the firm are independent and not affiliated with Goldenberg LLP. Please do not send confidential information; a message does not create an attorney-client relationship.
